NICE TO MEET YOU!

Hi! I'm Jess, the founder and owner of Moon Beam OT. I am a pediatric occupational therapist, mom, and now entrepreneur! I was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC. I received my Bachelor's from UNC-Greensboro, and my Master's in OT from WSSU. I've been an OT since 2016 with experience in Early Intervention, School-Based OT, Home Health, and Outpatient Pediatrics. I started Moon Beam in 2023 to further pursue my passion of supporting neurodivergent and disabled children and their families through OT. I believe that building a trusting relationship with my clients is the most important part of what I do, and that relationship takes TIME. Some children are your best friend the moment they walk in the door, while others may take several visits to feel comfortable -- and that's okay! Services are structured around the individual client's needs, strengths, likes, dislikes, and goals. In addition to providing direct therapeutic interventions for children birth-12 yrs old, I support families through education & training, home exercise/activity programs, and post-session consultations to keep caregivers up-to-date on their child's progress.
